"460W APFC with Lighting"
"12Gb DDR4 2400"

Not sure what motherboard it has, hopefully something with vrm heatsinks and a few spots for some extra fans. With the 1700x and a 570 that 460w psu is gonna be cutting it close, and it's gonna be warm inside that case.

Also note that 2400 is like the bare minimum for Ryzen.

Overall a decent PC for someone that just wants a quick prebuilt but I could build you something similar for around the same price with more solid components.

VR: Maybe, the 4gb on the GPU is going to be limiting on that.

Gaming: Should do very well at 1080, but again, I'd look into a better PSU and more fans.

Productivity: With 12Gb of DDR4, even at 2400, should encode and render videos fairly well. 3D work shouldn't be an issue either.

Overclocking: Not much, not without a different cooler, power supply, more fans and possibly adding heatsinks to the motherboard VRMs.

Ryzens are excellent cpus, but the 1070 and a faster single core performance will make the costco machine much better for gaming.

Wow 430w PSU is pushing it. My ryzen 5 1600x sucks up 95w and my Rx 580 sucks up 300w at max without oc. The Rx 580 suggested a 500w PSU I ended up installing a 700w to be on the safe side. As for the ram speed it should be fine . There are a lot if reviews showing that it does not make much difference unless your using a high end GPU like a 1080 I'm talking like 1-2 fps difference. It's not really worth buying higher clocked ram if you have a Rx 580 or a 1060 or less.
