Is there any difference between w/ & w/o special offers other than paid ADs? trying to figure out why anyone would go with special offers if both are the same price.

Want to pick one of these up for my mother.

Last deal like this mine was supposed to include the charging cable. The cable that they sent wasn't compatible so when I called, instead of just sending me the correct cable the just credited me the entire purchase. Seems that they did this since they couldn't replace the entire unit due to it being used.
