What is the quality of these bits? Will they strip on first use?

I feel it's good for general use. But I do see they chip when we use wrong bit for wrong application.

A masonry bit is for drilling concrete stone or brick.

I bought one of these last time around. Don't use them with a Impact drill

I hate hate hate their app. It just freezes or won't let me sign in. their mobile site isn't much better. I have the 200 piece set. I got it cheap after surprise points and used it on fans, towel rods, shower rods, and So far it's worked well. the only issue I ran across was that the case doesn't hold the bits properly.

I rarely get decent surprise points. It is usually $10 off $50, or off $75. Maybe you do more business with them than I do. I don't even have that, at the moment.
