Acer S277HK 27" IPS UHD 4K LED Monitor $329.99 @ Micro Center

MicroCenter [microcenter.com] has the Acer 27" 4k monitor for $329.99 $170 off list price.

For comparison, Amazon [amazon.com] has the monitor for $434.99

Supports HDMI 2.0 and has 2 DisplayPort inputs, which is great for my needs of having multiple machines hooked up at the same time.

Response Time: 4ms
con: no vesa

No tax for me, but I did have to pay for shipping at ~$30 for 2 monitors

LOL... I have to totally agree with you!! OMG it's horrible and the more I look at it, my ADD wants to have the stand centered in the bottom of the monitor. I would get these and put them in a multi-monitor stand setup, but no VESA. Im sure someone at Acer got fired over this design....

I feel like the offset of the mount would make the monitor lean over time, as the plastic parts begin to give way to gravity.

Question: would this make a good personal 4K display for gaming consoles such as XBox One X?

I read a single comment in another thread that it is not as good as going for 4K TV rather than monitor one one color looks. But I can't seem to find. 4K TV under 30". I want it on my desktop in my personal space and be able to enjoy the Xbox one x or PS4 pro at 4k.

I doubt it will by the time you upgrade to the next best monitor. But it's too darn ugly for me! Hopefully they discontinue this one soon.

Are y'all looking at the monitor stand or the screen when you use it?

Seems like a pretty good deal. I'm tempted to return my Dell s2716dg and get this. There's way too much color calibration problems and banding on this thing.

I'm using an old school Acer S275HL bmii which has the same stand for god 5+ years on my daily. No sagging here.
