I don't feel like the people who buy ready made protein drinks are looking for instructions on how to make a smoothie yourself.

This is my mom's main source of protein (she doesn't like other protein drinks and can't chew meat), so it's been a big help to us. Plus she doesn't eat enough as it is, so I'm okay with her getting these calories. It's good for lactose-intolerant needs too.

Bad ingredients and loads of sugar. Avoid.

This stuff is nasty and full of sugar. You are better off blending your own fruits and veggies mix and a scoop or two of amazing grass powder (so many varieties).

27g sugar per bottle ... that's 75% of the way to a can of soda.

That's interesting. The bottle and the packaging I have right now show 15g for High Protein Chocolate. I wonder if they changed their formulation or if amazon's picture is for another product. Will look when I receive. Thanks for mentioning it.

Get her Muscle Milk powder. Mix with any milk product. Tastes great and is way better than this horrible product.

I think I tried an already-mixed format several years ago and she didn't like it. I'll look for powder and give it a try.
Honestly, probably why she likes this one is the sugar in it.
