Seriously? You get $100 in airline incidental charges which easily offsets the $95 fee. On top of that you can easily get $500 dollar in rewards.

the problem with this deal is that CHURNERS will not get approved. it is close to impossible. bofa has tighetned up big time. look at reddit for data points.

i applied today and was denied. i have a 800 credit score and am a plat honors member and was denied flat out. recon denied me too.

The $500 signup is certainly worth it.

But I haven't had an airline incidental charge in many years and fly pretty often, so that $100 credit is pretty useless unless we get data points it can be used for something other than in-flight booze or baggage fees.... (like how Amex lets you use it for gift cards even though it shouldn't per the terms)

I suppose one could use it for boarding upgrades they'd other not have bothered with but I certainly wouldn't consider that worth its cash value.

And the actual rewards the card delivers year over year are pretty meh compared to other options for those who do travel.

What specific reason did they give? Was it a too many cards opened in a period kinda thing or a too many hard pulls in a period thing?

they said i had sufficient accounts with bofa. then later said that i had too many inquiries over the year. apparently bofa is taking a big loss on each card churned and they are trying to eliminate or minimize it.

the churning game is getting harder with chase 5/24, barclays similar 6/24 limit, amex once per lifetime, and now bofa new policy

I already have CSR, any good reason/benefit to switch to this? ( that 300 credit usually get used very quickly, so effective cost is 150 for CSR)
