Verizon Up Free $5 Amazon Gift Card YMMV

-5 Deal Score
2,582 Views
Logged into My Verizon app on my phone and in the Verizon Up rewards Choose section, below the first row of awards, there was a icon for a free Amazon $5 gift card. It says 5 years in. 5 bucks off, so I assume it is because we have been with Verizon Wireless for over 5 years. This free $5 gift card does not use your Up rewards credit either.

Hope some of you got this too.

Thanks but my gift card was for Sephora. Wish I had an Amazon one.

Wow... pay $2500+ to Verizon over five years and they give you back $5? Score!

If this was your first time getting into Up, it was the $5 card that you got for your first point. It's $300 in billing per point. It's the replacement for "Rewards Points" but you just don't get nearly as many of them, nor do you get them for data usage.

Redeeming this $5 card didn't take a point away though. I still have that free point from when I first signed up. Is that what you meant?

$5? Is that the best value, I remember they were giving away Madden out before?

Don't they sell your information as a part of this rewards program?
