no NC of any kind Wink ! they are closed back + seal is pretty good / a little clampy out of the box ! but unlike other ultrasone HPs (in my collection laugh out loud !) they sound phenomenal out of the box as well and get better w/use ! both are similar sounding HPs Wink would give a small edge to 780s (?!) / for the money (sale price) doubt you will do better ! Rock

Thanks for the reply. You making me wanna buy the 780s, can't do it now. On the lookout for noise canceling to use on the airplane. Bose has one for $170 still a bit to pricey for me.
If you have any recommendations... Please do share. Thanks again.

I've had a set of Ultrasone ULPRO550 for 6 years of heavy everyday use. They've held up excellent. Really well made and sound great. I may grab a set of these for a Christmas present.

How do these feel when wearing them for a while? Bulky? Heavy? Looking for something durable, good sound quality, but also lightweight... 🤔

ultrasone is in class of its own Wink s-logic is their own design and it sounds pretty good ! driver moved forward and lower - a plastic (?! it feels like plastic on PRO900 - but 880 looks like aluminum) plate w/cutouts (each headphone has a different configuration!) is placed on top, right bellow the ear pad Wink and it produces (or help produce) unique sound signature (supposedly surround sound - no it's not) ! but it has an imaging of a much more expensive cans ! Ooh, 780s for $99 is a very good price... Mine were stolen years back, I paid 150 used. Only downside is these are pretty weighty, and it helps to stretch them out on a volleyball or something.

Must not buy. Have no need for new headphones. Resist.
