So why would i want this at any price ?

Battery life is nearly 7 hours. FOr a windows based 2 in 1 that this portable, that might be a tradeoff people are okay with, especially at this price (full retail on this is $900, which is what my company paid for it).

keyboard is not included? $600 for refurb i5 without keyboard/pen. might as well go for surface pro4

OK...understood. But heat is the enemy. Causes electronic components to fail earlier. i fault Dell for not correcting this when they were doing initial product development. Why sell a unit like this ?

If you get this, i would recommend getting the lowest wattage cpu possible to reduce heat issues. I had one of the venues this was designed after and it lasted only 1.5 years before the motherboard died (probably heat related)
