Logan Square Single-Speed Road Bike $150 +S&H [nashbar.com]

Reviews are good and its a very stylish looking bike.

Additionally can get 25% off other Bikes and Frames. They have a large selection, if I didn't already own I bike I would pick something up since the quality here is top notch and way better than any run of the mill Walmart/Target stock bikes.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

That's simply not true. Modern steel bikes don't weigh much more than aluminum, and they absorb vibration so much better it's almost like having a suspension. Steel is the preferred commuter frame.

I'd recommend the Kilo TT, pretty much the best all around fixed gear for the price.

The web shows it is $200, not $150. Am I missing something?

Thanks for this. I ended up purchasing the Nashbar Campus Single Speed bike for the same price, but would not have found the discount without your post. Appreciate it!

New to the cycling world thanks to the Diamondback deal earlier. What would a fixed gear bike be used for?

This seems a bit expensive for a fixie? I'm looking for a cheap commuter bike. Should I buy this or a $100 fixie from Walmart? I'll mostly be riding on flat surface, sidewalk or road.
I'd recommend the Kilo TT, pretty much the best all around fixed gear for the price.

Fine for trails and local commuting on flat land. Not good for long, speedy road rides, or mountain biking of any sort. Not for use in hilly areas (seriously, save your knees).
