I ordered this kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1) off of Amazon a few days ago for $15.98 and it includes not only the case but a power supply, heatsinks and a fan. Should arrive today or tomorrow.

Personally, the case in the OP is a much better use of money. It's aluminum versus plastic and is designed to *be* a heatsink. A fan isn't necessary. Most folks have a compatible USB power supply and micro USB cord lying around already.

I'd be in on this one if I hadn't bought a Pi Foundation case to hit the minimum purchase to get a free RPI3 from the Arrow giveaway back in May.

I would argue most people getting into Raspberry Pi tinkering don't have a properly rated USB power supply for the Raspberry Pi 3. It operates on 2.5 amps, which most USB chargers don't output. While a standard USB wall plug will work, it can make your pi glitch out and randomly reboot if you are doing anything processor intensive.

I have this case and love it, the WiFi works great. It feels expensive, very nicely made.

nonsense, they do; 2.1A common AF (enough) & if the worst thing is a glitch well... nothing much. usb charger cost next to nothing, not a value. aluminum over plastic any day of week. and i even leave my Firestick plugged into low output tv usb service port, no problems!
