Found some nice looking 100 watt equivalent - 16watt - warm white - 1600 Lumens - UL listed bulbs 2 Pack in my local 99 Cents only stores. And these are dimmable!

Bought a pack and opened up one bulb and found that is pretty good quality. Nice looking power supply inside and 36 LED's on a aluminium heat sink. It did not make good contact with the metal surrounds (only press fitted). Not recommended for enclosed fixtures. I will post the picture of the box and the bulbs below.

2 100 watt bulbs for a buck is great deal.
My first deal, be kind.

Warranty info : 5 years free replacement warranty for indoor and out door use in homes. 3 years for commercial use.

Please add location and store name. Also YMMV on the title. At least it will be useful for some folks. these are generally subsidized by local energy companies.

Thanks for you feedback. I will put 99 cent only stores in quotes as this is the store name. I'm sure that they are alll over the place at least in California as far as I know.

As far as YMMV, Not sure about that. It is possible that all the stores have them.

Don't worry about thumbs down. People on here do that all the time for no reason. This will be useful to some. Thanks

Thanks for reassurance. I feel bad if that was not a good deal. I love these bulbs but reliability is not known. I will pick up a few more for outdoor fixtures as heat may be an issue. But it is a lot of light for cheap in both upfront cost and running cost.

Cheers

Thanks, I have have to check tomorrow. 100 watt equivalent is pricey the last time I checked. Are there any labels on how many hours they last?

Any ideas for lower watt equivalent LED lamps? The deals are always for 100w or 60w.

I have a couple of bathrooms with six bulb fixtures. 600 watt equivalent is.... too bright. I'm not crazy about getting a dimmer. Would much rather use 25w equivalent bulbs, or even 40w.

It'll be sweet when they also offer LED candelabra bulbs at the dollar stores.

We just alternate bulbs in such fixtures and ceiling fan lights. YMMV but I've seen 40w eqv. in hanging plastic packaging. There were 75W eqv. with those 60W and 100W eqv. Optilight brand.

Yeah, doing that now, but it looks pretty sad, at least in my fixtures :|
