The R5 is a no-brainer at this price if you're looking for something subtle, quiet, and still has space for optical drives. I think it has gone lower before, but I wouldn't hold your breath for the next time it happens.

Yeah, I'm on the edge of pulling the trigger. I need a case for my bedroom media center pc for now. R5 is overkill, but would want to use this case later for a NAS build. has 8 3.5HDD trays, which is more than enough, plus the abundant dust filters make it optimal for being on 24/7. But I don't need to build start on the second NAS for a while, and there are much cheaper alternatives for media center matx cases, decisions decisions.

I'm not a fan of their filter design. Guess they went looks over practicality. The grills on the filter make it less than ideal to vacuum the dust out of the gaps/corners.

Other than that, it's a nice sound proof case. First pc I built was with this case so it's definitely user friendly I'd say.

I have the R4, which I bought a few years ago for $60-70. This is a good deal. I don't believe there's too much different vs. the R5.

It's pretty big as someone else pointed out, but it does a great job keeping everything silent. Also has a solid, low-key look.

I bought this a couple years ago, built a killer (at the time) HTPC ready to be upgraded for gaming. It's huge, tons of HDD racks, sadly I have never really got my PC going after moving a few times and never putting in a wireless card. Anyone want to buy my $1200 setup? Probably worth a third of that now maybe

I have the Titanium version sitting next to me, building it this weekend. Very nice case for the price.
