Great price. Very bare bones MB, but has its place depending on needs.

Last time this was on sale from newegg with rebate (with a bit higher price) I'm still waiting for the rebate 2 months later. Everytime I checked the status says it's approved,

Now I'm slowly starting to loose track of it, guess that's the whole purpose of rebate that you may end up forgetting it and they never send you the money. Does anyone seriously consider themselves capable of tracking $20 small amount money on a 2 - 3 months span basis?

Rebate is a SCAM, a Fraud business model next to equifax.

While 60 days is a lot of time passed, that's only 8 weeks. You need to allow up to 14-16 weeks for rebates. If you don't see it after 14-16 weeks, that's when I would start asking questions. Print it out. Keep it on your fridge as a constant reminder. I take a photo of everything before I mail it out and I've never had a rebate fail me in all these years.

All that work for $20? People pay $20 for all those work, of those who'd purchase from here.

These are not food stamps, nor are these welfare program. Don't fall to the Rebate scam. No coupon no go.

Free money if you can get it, otherwise it's called scam. All scams run on the prospect of free or quick bucks which never come.

I've never had a rebate fall through. Had them rejected because I messed up on a submission but usually a call gets that squared and allowed to resend

same boat. msi has 3 rebates of mine sitting on approved since april. i personally keep track in an excel file. i use the following info:

Date submitted - (their date for received/approved/sent when checking status) - Price - Rebater (msi, newegg, etc.) - Item - Tracking #

then just shove all rebates in their own folder and you can search your gmail by tracking # to get all emails associated.

A little bit of work, but its safe and easy.

What a bunch of whiners! If you are afraid of a rebate, then don't buy it. No one is forcing you, right?
If you are gutsy enough to do a rebate, then photocopy every thing, and give yourself a reminder in your calendar to call them if no check has come by X date. Hell, I have bought multiple items and had relatives do the rebates, and I keep track of every one, its not that hard.
Sorry to be so harsh, but I was hoping to hear views on the mobo, not the unfair rebate practices.

I built my computer in February and only received my two rebates from Asus early last month. From my experience most of them take exceedingly long.
