I saw this earlier in my email. How does this work to feed 2? Can 2 go inside and just order soup or salad and breadsticks and eat that in the restaurant and then take the 2 entrees home? So you'd pay 12.99 + tax for both meals?

I've never done this so wasn't sure how it worked. Thanks.

I believe you have to order from the specific set of entree options, then choose from a specific set of free entree options.

I don't know if you can get 2 of these deals for one order, or would have to create 2 separate orders. But if you want 2 total entrees (1 paid, 1 free), it would cost you $12.99+. If you want 4 total entrees (2 paid, 2 free), it would cost you $25.98+.

Thanks. I guess I was confused when reading the other Olive Garden thread that some would just eat soup or eat the salad in the restaurant and take the 2 meals home. So you can't do that then. Thanks for confirming.

Maybe one person eats salad and bread sticks in the restaurant and then takes the 2 entrees home to share. Oh well who knows what they were talking about. lol

The latter scenario seems more feasible lol. Olive Garden is pretty aware of how people try to exploit their deals. I remember back in the day when you could stack multiple coupons in-restaurant and get like 3 meals for damn near free. They obviously put an end to that though.

I'm confused about that 10 percent off online order. If this deal needs to eat at the restaurant, how can you order online?

Basically you can go and pick up your 2 entrees. You sacrifice the unlimited bread/soup/salad though (you only get a select choice with the takeout order).

You can do that. You originally asked about 2 people going into a restaurant, ordering soup/salad and bread sticks and taking 2 entrees home...not how it works though

If you want to take 2 entree's home and fill up on soup/salad and bread sticks it's pretty easy, They can't force you to eat the meal they bring to your table

Order your table entree, order your take home entree, choose your salad or soup. When they bring your soup/salad and bread sticks eat it. If you eat it all, get more and eat that.

When they bring your entree, don't eat it. When they ask if you want a box say "yes please" Take both entree's home. <mind blown>

I don't think you can sit 2 people at a table, have just 1 of them order food and then they both get offered soup/salad and breadsticks. They're going to have to order something if they want the soup/salad. Why not have 2 people order the buy 1 take one and take 4 entree's home if your really that dead set on not eating a hot freshly cooked entree.
