Looks like a good price for a combo. The modem is barely enough for 100 Mbps connection from Cox and Comcast.
Not sure about the router.
I think this combo was available at Walmart for $70 as part of hose YMMV deals. I could mistaken on the exact model but there was a 3 piece combo for sure.

Glad people mentioned thermal fix. Just be aware the router can heat up. I bought one refurb for $20 (thread on slickdeal). By placing it sideway with no hardware modification it stays at 67C. Can go up to 80C+ in normal position.

Isn't the modem EOL for comcast or not useable? The cisco version is still useable for comcast last I knew

I guess the EOL on Comcast applies to only Comcast rented devices but not customer owned!

Yes but what I read was people not being to use it, only the cisco version. Not sure the correct term

This thing is trash, I got combo router and extender when walmart had them on clearance for $30. The router was working great for the first 2 weeks with the tomato firmware but then it started to get warm in the house and the router would just crash hard. Every time it crashed, about every other day for a week before I returned it, I had to reflash tomato back onto it as it wouldn't boot up after it overheated. The room it was in wasn't exactly extremely hot either, it was like between 80-85. So if you like wasting time then this is the deal for you.

I don't know if this is true about the ac1600 in this bundle, but i bought the ea6400 bundle That came with the ac1750 thinking it would be a good candidate for open source firmware but beware: although it had plenty of ram to load any of the main distributions (dd wrt, tomato, open wrt) there is a hardware bug that limits the hardware to half of the available nvram at 32k. Even configuring the most basic features like ssh will put the router over that limit and it will reboot and soft brick. There are techniques to limp along with alimited feature set but unless you're planning on using the official firmware i wouldn't buy this bundle for the router
