Same here. I added my Discover card a month or so back when Samsung Pay first added support for Discover cards, but I've never seen a peep about this promotion.

I got an email as well. I have used my Discover card in Samsung Pay a couple times sine 9/18, I wonder if they will count those or just from the day you get the email.

Was it Samsung Pay where you could start a transaction at a vending machine, cancel it before purchasing anything, and still get a credit towards a purchase?

If so, i might try using my discover at a mall nearby, with a vending machine in the front.
