How long does it have to be since my last gamefly subscription to consider me a new customer?

Not sure. I have read online they verify based on the shipping address, so probably never. If you address has changed though, just use a different email address and device Smilie

I found swagbucks to be a scam this week when I tried the Home Chef Deal. Swag denied I'd gone through them.. Home Chef was good enough to give me a full refund. I won't be burned again.

Its not a scam. It's in Swagbucks best interest for you to have done the sale through them. Did you try to rectify that with them? I've had issues at times with Swagbucks and e-bate's and just submit claims and get awarded the reward that way too.

Actually their best interest would be denying the commission to you. Smilie

Yes I tried to rectify- that is what denied I went through them means. Sheesh. Yes, the $30 off was in my Home Chef order, so obviously I went through swag.

What I usually do for these "free trials" is enter in a drained visa gift card with a $0 balance. That way the card goes through but they are unable to bill me for any amount. The worst they can do is send me an email saying my billing information was declined, and they can't take any of my money. Wink

Considering this costs $10, this statement makes no sense. Just remember to cancel on time & you've always got CC protection/BBB report abilities & you don't have to go thru this step.

I can never get this promotion to work. I always receive "this offer isn't available or has been removed"

Acorns "Found Money" app.. cashback.. signing up for Gamefly $20

Acorns' app has a featured called Found Money, which is basically a cashback thing. Last month they offered a matching bonus "earn $35 cashback and get $35."
One of the offers I signed up with was Gamefly through Acorns' Found Money. Frankly I didn't know what Gamefly is.. just wanted to get to over $35 in earnings.. and the Gamefly offer was $20 cashback toward that $35. I hit the $35.. but the matching $35 is pending for 120 days.
Anyways, I'm actually overseas for the next few months. I was gonna cancel Gamefly, and assuming that because my card was already charged $9.95 that that would be the end of it. $9.95 to make $20 cashback + the matching $35 offer from Acorns. BUT the problem is Gamefly online support chat just said if I cancel now without renting any games that I'll be issued a full refund? Normally that would be good, except in this case, I don't want a refund to be issued automatically because then I'm worried I won't get the $20 cashback from Acorns and perhaps could also lose the $35 Acorns "matching" bonus.
What do you guys think? I know Swagbucks and some other portals have offered cashback for Gamefly, etc. Did anyone sign up for Gamefly and cancel without using any services and still get the cashback? Maybe I could send a rental to a family member and instruct them to return it.. and that will ensure I get all the cashback?

Updated: problem solved. SB credited.

I did the promotion, but not credited.

I submitted a ticket, uploaded all necessary screenshots, but so far there is NO reply.

The last auto reply I received was on 10/02.

I had the same problem. Did promotion but not credited. Contacted SB and got the credit a few days later. I had to follow up with them once though.

Signed up 11/17, credited 11/22.
