FYI I have this. It's that price point for a reason. Functional but man, I regret not spending 60$ on a better one. It works. Not well.

I need one and was happy to see this. I probably use it twice a year to burn or read some data disc. Do you think it will be OK for my needs? Thanks.

What do you mean? Lots of coasters? I dont care so much about write time. What speed did you record at?

I'm quite sure you can't. 4K UHD bluray is actually a different disc format so regular blu-ray drives can't read or write.
