Please update your post. Newegg.com is not an authorized Pioneer retailer and will not honor that $100 rebate.

Anyone has recommendation between Pioneer AVH-4201NEX and Kenwood DDX9704S. I want to install on my 2010 Hyundai SUV with a back-up camera

Both are great head units, if you're running an amp to your speakers they are even up. If you're not the Kenwood has better RMS power to run speaks off the deck.

Thanks. I don't have any modifications done to my car audio and might not do in future.

I just want to get one so that I can run backup camera to it

How much better/why is the 4201 better than the 491bhs? Enough to justify an extra $140? As far as I can tell, the $260 one does about the same only no back up camera? that being said, it supports a backup camera/would just have to buy one. also, no messy mail in rebate.
as far as I can tell, the Kenwood supports a backup camera?
Any advice would be a HUGE HELP???

I am far from an expert in the subject matter but in need of a new deck. Thanks!!!

You know, after going through many touch screen head units, I still can't believe they cost $300-600 for functions which are so simple, yet complete shit in performance compared to a $50 tablet which can be had on amazon

The touch screen sensor on these head units remind me of kiosks from 2004 compared to the smooth flow of smart phones and tablets.

The touch screen sensor is complete garbage like touch screen kiosks from 2004 compared to the smooth flow of smart phones and tablets.

What he is saying that the car industry for car radio with gui screeen is the biggest scam since the improvement is in circa 2004. He does got a point because an ipad cost just as much as a stupid car stereo with screen!

Has anyone actually gotten their rebate back from Pioneer after ordering from Newegg? I want to pull the trigger but don't want to be denied the $100 rebate. I do know that it is the third party that's selling the stereo through Newegg but I want to make sure because it is Newegg.com, which is not the authorized seller.
TIA

What happened to these units that used to sell for $80 or so. Why now just very high end ones near $400.

I also find Newegg Flash a lot like Tiger Direct. Fake retail prices that are obviously bogus and generally very poor deals.
