I'd rather not have dollar store items between mains voltage and my electronics.

compressor appliances like fridge freezer window a/c do best on their own outlet
which is why you often see them plugged into a simplex 15-20amp outlet.

Homedepot has it for 5.16 each. so you save 1.32 if you buy two.

Ok for a refrigerator? (It's in the garage, wall plug covers the only outlet.)

Agreed! Don't use this where you have a compressor appliance.

Does anyone know if these will fit on a standard GFCI outlet? I rent in an apartment and the bathroom is pretty skimpy on outlets.

you'd be better off with something that is not dependent on the vertical distance between each one duplex outlet like https://www.amazon.com//dp/B01JRLVM9U if your gfci has to be reset often, anything you buy may block the reset button which is just an inconvenience, not a safety issue..

I do buy from 99 cent or dollar store without much of concern for use, but have never seen a 6 outlet for $1. They sell the 3 outlet version.
