Tablo is a 2-Tuner Over-The-Air (OTA) DVR for Cord-Cutters using HDTV antennas to have access to broadcast TV signals. Browse, record and stream live and recorded HDTV programs on any device, anytime, anywhere in the world.

Tablo includes a 30 day trial of our EPG subscription. After this you can choose to continue the subscription for $4.99 USD monthly, $49.99 USD annually or $149.99 USD for a lifetime subscription. Subscriptions are tied to your account and not the device, so you can add as many Tablo units as you'd like to your subscription or change your Tablo unit at any time.

Refurbished Units:

Refurbished Tablo OTA DVRs are lovingly restored to a like-new state at TabloHQ. All DVRs are tested and include all parts and accessories. These units are covered by Tablo's 12 month warranty policy but are NOT eligible for Tablo's 30-day return policy which is standard on all new units.

No, but it is worth the cost. Especially, if you can buy the lifetime subscription right away.

So it's $250 total cost with a functional EPG. Alternately, you could go for a Homeworx STB with an external SD card or hard drive for $30. The price disparity is just too big for me with the small amount of OTA TV I watch.

Not at all.

You get 24 hours of guide data for free.

The subscription gives you two weeks of guide data. It also gives you fancy images on the DVR instead of just text.

I don't have a subscription and can barely tell the difference.

AppleTV + Tablo + DirecTV Now is the future of television. I get more channels and the Apple user interface for $35/month.

I have the 4 tuner Tablo and it is a wonderful machine. Works well with Fire TV and on a tablet.

My only complaint is syncing is kind of slow and I wish it would still stream when searching the guide.

I have had to contact CS via email and they responded very quickly.

One thing about buying the lifetime guide, it is tied to your account and not to the device. If you get another Tablo, you do not have to pay for the service again. I went a month with the free guide and the lifetime sub is worth it to me.

I have the Homeworx 180STB, and it's serviceable as a DVR. The menu's a little quirky, but it gets the job done. I mostly record football games, and my family records the occasional Bachelor.

No HDMI??? Seriously you need a dongle attached to your TV to stream the OTA from the box sitting next to it.

Silliness! The streaming app is a nice feature add, but a video output for an OTA DVR is minimum functionality.

How's this compare to the sling box pro? I have one of those and like it.

The concept behind devices like these is to stream to any tv or device in your house or outside of your house. It streams at 1080i to any device. I have one antenna feed coming in and all 5 of my tvs can be on it at the same time. It is also nice to get all of my channels on the go. No need whatsoever for an HDMI connection.

No hard drive with it. Works fine with a portable hard drive
