Just received this flyer in mail (attached). Kohls has Toastmaster mini chopper, toaster, or hand mixer for 16.99 - 15% off (Text SAVE07 to 56457 Thanks Snowturkey) - 12 mail-in-rebate [kohls.com] = 2.44. More appliances are eligible for this promotion (listed in the rebate form). LIVE NOW. Rep if you like the deal. Thanks! 😉

Potentially a money maker if buy all three to receive 10 KC for every 50 spent.

Toaster [kohls.com]
Mixer [kohls.com]

i had the white version of that mini chopper i got for $5 from a similar walgreens sale. it's a total waste of money. it can't chop anything hard like nut meats, and everything soft requires regular spatula work to center it or it just remains flung along the sides away from the blade. i used it maybe three times then tossed it in the trash - not even worth the space it took up in my cabinet. maybe you could use it to froth milk for coffee, but that's about it.

From 1929 until 1980, the brand was owned by McGraw Electric, renamed to McGraw-Edison in 1957. Following a leveraged buyout in 1980 to Magic Chef, the brand changed hands several times and finally went public in 1992 as Toastmaster, Inc. The company, headquartered in Boonville, Missouri, United States, was acquired by Salton, Inc., in 1999. After a series of acquisitions, the brand is now owned by Spectrum Brands, Inc. and is licensed to Select Brands Inc.(for consumer products), Commercial Toastmaster products for the food-service industry are manufactured by The Middleby Corporation.

obvious conclusion not "grand assumption" -
20th century era brands are meaningless, http://www.selectbrands.com/
they are marketing bull-crap bought and sold to the highest bidder.
it's sad that SD consumers here have not figured that out by now vomit

I agree, i have something like this. It stinks. There is a safety thing which is such a pain to engage.

We have almost identical Black & Decker chopper, probably 15 years old, using it pretty exclusively to chop onions. Works like a charm, but you do need to open it and scrape once or twice. It fits one medium to large onion (cut into quarters).
