Believe it is made in China. I know it was in the past. Macy's listing says "imported". This is their "cheap" line.

Doesn't seem like $60 is competitive with $33 after rebate / $53 before rebate.

Can I choose something else to qualify for the rebate in stead of the measuring cup?

If I understand the rebate criteria correctly, I can get the rebate as long as I buy $50 before tax. Can somebody help to confirm this? Thanks

Orders over $50 at macys after coupons, before taxes and shipping (when you follow instructions on rebate) will qualify, as long as you arent purchasing gift cards or apple products.

Eh; sorta. Nonstick isn't my thing, per se, but it's what my SO is used to so I ended up buying this set a little over a year ago. They've held up very well for us, better than the large Calphalon nonstick we'd previously been gifted. I personally think $50 is a reasonable price point for this 2-piece set. The sizes are nice, too - neither too large nor too small - and they look nice.

That price, if they'd been their tri-ply, i'd have ordered right away. I agree about Calphalon no-stick being junkier junk.
