No.. but pricing on stuff like speakers and other technology doesn't work that way. The price tends to go up exponentially for incremental performance gains - Kind of like PC processors.

That said, the Klipsch are considerably better than the Pioneers, especially at high volumes.

How many watts would be needed to properly run these? I don't get the whole peak wattage and ohms deal. Do these need a center channel?

Main Channel: Power HandlingContinuous:150W
Peak: 600WMain Channel: Nominal Impedance8Ohms Compatible

A center would be required and highly recommended is using for home theater. I have these paired up with the RP-450C center and they sound great.

Is there any indication on the Adorama page that you get a pair of speakers for $999.99?

The page says "single" and "single speaker" in several places.

Yeah , so I heard that you need double the continuous power so would I need a receiver with 300 watts per channel? Someone told me that the receiver should also go near the peak watts to make it sound more full? Also how are these for music?

My black 280FA order with Adorama is backordered and this week Adorama updated me that there are no ETAs for those from Klipsch. So bit on this one....will not match by black Klipsch R-115SW and the center perfectly...
Quick question, my Denon AVR X-3300 will be able to drive these ?

Idk about this deal these speakers are 800 each on Amazon so you are getting 600 off basically. The other deal that included the 2xRP-280F and the RP-450c seemed a lot better.

These speakers are huge, better have the room. They are quite easy to drive.

Yes. Klipsch doesn't list them as authorized dealers but when you call Klipsch they say they are authorized online dealers. I asked the customer service rep to please list them and he told me he spoke to the person to add Adorama to the authorized list. That was 3 weeks ago. You can call Klipsch tomorrow if you want to confirm for yourself. I am surprised Adorama doesn't get on their case.
