slickdeals.net is not responding due to a long running script

20,618 144 September 24, 2017 at 01:21 PM
Using IE 11, this has not been a problem until recently.

If I click stop script, the page crashes. It never seems to complete the script if I don't.

It seems practices causing this problem on other web sites have migrated to slickdeals.

Please fix this.

I actually noticed a couple times recently where the page was timing out for me. Happened on IE and Chrome but doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

Apparently posting the notice has led to a fix, cause it stopped being a problem yesterday.
