TMobile IPhone 7/7 Plus $199 or $299 After trade in at Costco Cellular Kiosk

Was at my local Costco and saw a deal on the IPhone 7/7 Plus. The Cellular Kiosk has the phones for $499 and $599 respectively. This is cheaper than the new marked down price by about $50 dollars. They have have a trade in promo going.

Trade in an IPhone 6 or better and get $300 back via Giftcard rather than the monthly credit for 24 months. Thought this was the best deal, especially since you get the full promo within 8 to 10 weeks and not stuck with the carrier for 2 years and the cost of the phone is also cheaper as well.

Promo ends the September 27th

$599 + Tax - 300 GC After Trade-In = $342 after 7% Tax for plus
$499 + Tax - 300 GC After Trade-In = $235

Thanks for posting OP! So the gift card is $300 no matter what iPhone 6 is traded in?

since a trade in is involved you need to add the cost of the iPhone 6 or what it would fetch in the open market to the cost of the phone, so its not really $300 off.

Is an SE considered "newer" than a 6? It's never listed.

I sure hope so, since it's an 6s in a 5's body.

Do you have to be a T-Mobile customer to purchase the phone outright? I'm on metropcs and would like to purchase this T-Mobile variant at Costco but I'm not sure if it will work. Is it like Cricket where using a Cricket sim in an AT&T locked phone will still give you service?

It has to be an IPhone 6, 6 plus, 6s, 6s Plus. Yes, no matter the phone, it is $300. The best bang for the buck would be a working IPhone 6 16GB

Must be a TMobile customer or thinking of becoming one. The rebate is through TMobile

True. I have an Iphone 6 Plus laying around and Gazelle only offers $125 for it. Also the price is cheaper than going to Best Buy or Apple as well right now for a new IPhone 7 by about $50 dollars

Misleading title/info by OP. You get ZERO off.

You have to pay full price $600/500 plus tax in most state.
You will get $300 Costco cash card that you can only use in Costco.

Can I pay for the phone using the $300 gift card? Or after I spend the $500 do I get the gift card? Can you clarify on this part. Thanks

What condition does the trade in have to be in? I have a 16gb iPhone 6 that had a clear bend in it, but the screen isn't cracked and everything works
