Anyone with one of these robo vacuums have toddlers? I want to pick up the gold fish crumbs, but wonder how it handles possible toys on the floor.

it says "object detection" but i guess it all depends how small the toys are...

This particular vacuum is terrible. I have another model the n79 from the same company that works great but this thing just gets stuck on everything. It's ridiculous.

I'd like to know also. I love the eufy but it looks primitive compared to this one. Some reviews say the m80 is noisy. Which would deter me.

I would highly recommend spending a little more and getting the Xiaomi smart vac instead. It beats out these vacs in every single way.

I have one, it knows how to return to base easily. It mops but water tank only last 30 minutes. I have standard carpet, the one that stick up and not braided and it's go through fine. On wood floor, it lasts over 3 hours. Edge cleaning works great. It will not go down the stair even when you force it with the dpad on remote. It does get stuck under my fridge, but that's because under the fridge it has a rubber edge so it grips onto the robot. Also get stuck when it climbs over my gaming chair base. Overall I'm happy with it and going to buy another one. any robot will get stuck, you will find out a long the way and rearrange things so it won't get stuck.

it can handle carpet without issues. Ideally you dont want to have a really plush, high pile carpet with these robot vacs though, and make sure your expectations arent too high.

These vacs are great, but they dont and cant, have the suction power of a full size normal vacuum cleaner.

I dont have kids in the house, but i have pets. not sure its strong enough suction for goldfish but maybe..
in regards to toys, some it pushes around, some it gets stuck on. we do a pick up before we run it.

we have the n78 so there is no bar for as many things to get tangled in. So far I love it for light dust and pet hair reduction in between regular vacuuming.
I'm considering a model for light mop maintenance in the kitchen between cleaning but I hear mixed reviews so far.

Definitely not a replacement for a full size. I have a eufy and love it but would like mapping. I've seen repeatedly that the xiaomi is the best vac as long as you have hard floors whereas other vacs (roomba) are better for carpet, irrespective of mapping.

hardwood floors is always the best for these vac as its the easiest to navigate around. I dont have any problems with carpet with the Xiaomi though. The only issue I had was that one of my carpet edges was too tall/high and the vac didnt like that. I cut back the carpet pad underneath so that it was further back from the edge and the did the trick.
