10" Woofers

The Infinity BassLink system uses two ultra-rigid 10" woofers to deliver extreme output in any car audio system. One woofer is powered by BassLink's 200-watt digital amplifier, and the other operates as a passive radiator. By using a passive radiator, BassLink doesn't have to use a larger ported enclosure. This setup keeps BassLink's profile slim, making it easy to install in any vehicle – even those with limited space.

Work with any system

The Infinity BassLink system was designed to be installed in nearly any type of car audio system. Have a factory OEM system? BassLink includes speaker-level inputs that allow it to be easily integrated into nearly any factory-built system. Since it also includes an audio-sense circuit, the system will turn the amplifier on whenever it detects an audio signal. Are you adding BassLink to an aftermarket system that has RCA subwoofer outputs? BassLink has RCA line-level inputs for integration into a truly high-performance car audio system. Either way, BassLink accepts up to four channels of input to ensure that your system will have nonfading bass for the best possible performance.

Complete control

The BassLink system offers a complete set of user-adjustable controls so you can optimize the bass response and output for the highest performance from your particular vehicle. The controls include: a 0- or 180-degree phase switch; a continuously variable electronic low-pass filter that is adjustable between 70Hz and 100Hz; variable input sensitivity; and a bass boost that provides for adjustments between +3dB and -6dB. The BassLink system even includes a remote level control that makes adjusting bass output on the fly easy. First, set the input-sensitivity control on the amplifier for the maximum output level. Then mount the control somewhere close and use its simple rotating knob to dial up just the right amount of bass for whatever music you're playing.

Bass for any size space

BassLink was engineered for high output and deep bass from a smaller footprint than competing powered subwoofer solutions. The BassLink system can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, giving you more flexibility in choosing where to install it. In fact, the BassLink system is so compact that it requires only three quarters of a cubic foot (0.02 cubic meters) of trunk space. That leaves plenty of room for other important things, like golf clubs.

Had the BassLink both versions 1 and 2 mainly because they saved space in a sedan's trunk. They are great for shaking-your-butt bass in those small space situations but they don't have a full range on the frequency response that I would have liked. Make sure if you get one, it has ventilation to allow the full movement in and out of the space you have it in - as in if it's in your trunk, it will sound muddy unless it has a direct air space in between the trunk and cabin space. It will sound much better that way via physics.

These things are literally like 15 years old and haven't changed since. You are buying very old technology here. Keep that in mind.

Horrible company to deal with if your product arrives damaged, whether you accept delivery or not. I have had to deal with them in both regards and both were a complete nightmare. Proceed with caution...

Never looked at a system like this. Would this be easy to remove if you need more room in the trunk?

Bought one of these a year or 2 ago.
It lasted about 2 months and then stopped. I emailed and arranged for a replacement. They were pretty good about getting it taken care of.

The second one came and it lasted about 3 months.. Mind you, I'm pretty easy on my audio here - I'm not thumping it too much or trying to rattle the windows. I just wanted a bit more low end to my speakers.
The second request for a replacement was met with a bit more delay but eventually they did send one out.
The third one just died about a month ago, so probably lasted a few months also.

I'm pretty sure I'm past the warranty period and at this point I don't have any confidence that another one would work anyhow, so I've given up on them.

Wiring to sub/amp was professionally done and it works fine for the first few months, so I'm not sure if there's somewhere on my end that could be the problem. Needles to say, I can't recommend it even at this price. Bummer because it was a near perfect fit for under the rear seat of my truck.

I've read in Other forums that this unit requires alot of ventilation.

Did you buy with a CC that doubles your warranty?

Hah, maybe! They actually sent me a new, non-refurb for the second one. (they said they were out of stock on refurbs at the time)

I think your warranty period should reset, especially if you had multiple replacements. Three failures within a year and that's the least they could do.

That'd be nice - but certainly not normal. I've given up - after 3 I'm just not seeing the value in spending more time dealing with it.
