Staples has the Dell C1760nw color laser printer on sale for $79.99. I know it's not the usual $74.99, but it's close and they had them in stock (at least when I ordered)

It's a good printer with cheap aftermarket toner.

It goes on sale for this price a lot, we bought one and it is a solid laser printer for a cheap price. Refill ink is cheap too. Wifi connection can be a little shaky but overall great.

Too bad they use the Dell Document Hub app instead of just supporting AirPrint and Android Print standards. A major negative for some people.

What toner is recommended (tested and approved)??? Does the printer complain about not having OEM cartridges?

don't buy this thing, it's a total POS. Started throwing error 16-032 the day I turned it on. Happens all the time, I think it just doesn't like all the data flying around the network. It gets a packet it doesn't like and -BOOM-. Happens inevitably if it's left on long enough (which is never very long). This is with latest drivers on win and mac. When it works, it works. But it's a pain to constantly have to turn it off and on again just to print one extra page when you really need it. It's just poorly tested, there's no reason this should happen in 2017.

Edit: also like @auctionhugh said the wifi is a little shakey. This is in the same room as the router, literally less than 8 feet from it. Again, poorly tested.

I highly recommend this printer. I've used it daily for about a year for business and personal printing invoices, flyers, labels and envelopes. I tried many different color printers. For the price, the Dell C1760nw is by far the highest quality at the lowest price per page I know of. The graphics are near photo quality which is remarkable for a laser printer. The Dell brand cartridges that come with the printer work perfectly, but they're expensive. Some third party cartridges will not work no matter what. This works for me - Over ride the cartridge settings and ignore all the warnings. When a color stops printing, time to replace that cartridge. I found these bargain cartridges work perfectly and last at least 1000 pages:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...UTF8&psc=1

The Amazon description reads: Limeink 5 Pack Compatible 1250 1250c High Yield Toner Cartridges (2 Black, 1 Cyan, 1 Magenta, 1 Yellow) For Laser Printers 1250c 1350cnw 1355cn 1355w 1355cnw C1760nw C1765nf C1765nfw

I have had the same results. We have 3 of them in our office. Mine has been functioning flawlessly, both with the original toner and now the aftermarket.

I bought this last time. Happy with the printer.
Not sure why after print though , the paper comes out so curved.
Another huge negative like others mentioned. No air print support for iOS and that dell hub application is complete garbage. I downloaded an application called printer pro but I can't figure out what PDL protocol this printer uses.

Finally was able to place an order and get the confirmation email. The printer has been out of stock since this morning when I started checking. I guess it comes and goes out of stock.

And given the mixed reviews above, I added a $5 square trade protection, so if it does start giving me trouble after the return window, I can try and get it fixed/replaced. Thanks OP!

My iPhone showed it was out of stock, but I was able to order on my laptop. At first I was excited because my confirmation said it would be delivered the next day, but when I got my shipping info it said next week. Oh well, as long as it works. This may save my marriage since my wife if fed up with our inkjet and blames me for it.

I had the same experience 2 days ago with the phone and desktop. When I finally placed the order I got a delivery date of next day. But the order never shipped and got cancelled in a couple of hours. Just tried now as well and shows out of stock. Maybe you need it more than me and you actually get it Stick Out Tongue
