It is not. It is a 2.8k RBGW that does not display 4:4:4 correctly. Some text would look pretty messed up.

Example of what text looks like on a RBGW TV.

It's $400 on sale at the moment from most places so this is a pretty decent discount for refurb

From what I know these rgbw 4k panels is specific to LG.. other 4k screens don't exhibit the problem

I'm using this exact monitor as we speak. It's beautiful, displays text and video very well. I also have a Vizio M55-C2 as a second monitor. While the Vizio can do 4:4:4 and the Hisense can not (I think it does 4:4:2), I find no discernable difference at this resolution. I did have an Element 4k 43, another Walmart special, which was crap. That one I returned. This Hisense 43" 4k monitor is a buy, in my opinion.

I have this monitor and I have 2 dead and 1 bright pixel. Also 2 very minor pressure point damage to the screen. I kept it. The damage isn't noticeable on videos. My screens issues are away from the center.

ive heard bad things, tons of shattered screens, its always recommended to ship to store and open the box before leaving to make sure it is fine. Apparently the refurb company does a terrible job securing the box. For that reason i am very wary of wal mart refurbs
