Not going to bother with internet posturing, but I'm no weakling. If you go to use this thing, brace yourself... this thing will rip your wrists off - especially if you don't use the extra handle.

Our fabrication facility has this tool and one of our technicians was up on a man-lift drilling a 1" hole in a beam - he was on his final diameter after stepping up to it he yelled down "This thing has YAWH!" - from an older guy that has done everything & isn't impressed by much.

Good deal, not sure I need one though.

If Acme tools can sell it for $100 considering amazon will get at least $10 from them for each sale, Amazon should be able to sell it for less.

Good deal, but I noticed its the same price at a couple other stores today too. Looks like several of them are running a promotion on Dewalt today, where you buy two bare tools, like this hammer drill for $99, you get a free 5.0ah battery, charger, and bag.

Not bad for somebody looking to get into Dewalt. Two brushless tools, a bigger 5.0ah battery, charger and bag for around $200.

I know this is refurbished but for $150 getting the tool, 2x batteries and charger seemed like a deal I couldn't pass up on eBay. Plus I used the eBay $15 off coupon last week. Should be delivered this week. eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/112556725886

Awesome tool. They had good combo deals in summer. Cheaper then. But no need to jump any hoops with this.

Looking to get into tools. Not familiar with DeWalt vs milwakee or their models but I have a tendency to buy "the best" model just incase. In no rush to buy either. I wonder if I should pull the trigger or wait for some Black Friday deals.

Haven't checked every retailer, but Acme has this and cheapest second tool is $129 (impact driver or drywall screw gun). At $228 I think the combo drill+driver from Lowes with coupons and gift card savings is a better deal (comes with two 4Ah baterias).

If you're just starting out, wait for a combo deal (or buy one from Lowe's). You're going to need a charger and batteries for it and even at deal prices those often add up to more then a kits price (and you loose an impact driver).

Where did you see this deal? More intriguing to me than just the bare tool...

Haven't seen this one this cheap, the xr is part of the brushless lineup and is the top of the brushless, you can Google difference between xr and brushless and it lists the differences. That being said, I am a commercial Crabber and these things are bad, the lights are super bright, and the torque is insane

Just got through Irma and this was my best "flashlight". The light has 3 settings:
1. Dim
2. Bright
3. Work light that stays on for 15 minutes on the brightest setting.
Very powerful drill with a great hammer action.

Did some googling and can't seem to find this. Can't you point me in the right direction?
