Not a reliable rebate program.

I did one recently and got 25 of the 45 I was supposed to get making it not a good deal. For me at all... And there is no way to resolve rebate error.

Yes Russian but USA anti-virus probably filled with backdoor and what not also. Nsa leaks have proven scary.

I have also had no issues with Kaspersky. The Russian crap is All BS.

I am not saying that Trump is innocent and i am sure the Russians are screwing with our elections and other shit... but unless you've got nuclear launch codes on your laptop, I wouldn't worry.

And if Eset or Bitdefender had any FAR I would use them too...but they haven't lately.

Dude, this doesn't really have anything to do with Trump.

In May, six US intelligence and law enforcement chiefs were asked in a Senate hearing if they'd let their networks use Kaspersky software and they all said no.

So whom should people trust, these folks, Homeland Security, or some dude on the internet who says it's all bs?

I see people listening to planted media, sure its russian and heck it may contain some type of backdoor lol. But the only reason this got any attention is they wouldn't cower to the Government and allow then to backdoor the software. So now its harmful and all your bits are going to be violated by mother russia.... Id be more leery of the AVs that didn't end up in the media. Although I guess if your worried about sensitive data It'd probably be more useful to the country in which you reside to use against you is my thoughts.

The Department of Homeland Security has instructed all government agencies to stop using Kaspersky products due to close connections between the company and the Russian government. I agree, Kaspersky is probably just fine for typical home use, but why take the chance? There are plenty of other AV products out there.

Whatever, Bro. I personally don't have anything to hide and lets face it, your financial history is screwed due to Equifax and all the rest of the credit agency s Farking us over....so what difference does it really make? I'm going to continue using Kaspersky, you do whatever you want.

Keep the politics aside, is this the best antivirus software on the market? I don't care it's Russian or not. I don't care if they spy on me as I'm a small potato and it's not worth their time to dig in my info. My laptop got virus before and it costs me $100 to fix the laptop. I don't want that happens again and I'm looking for the "best" internet software and I don't really care it's russian or not. As long as it works!
