SE is faster, similar to a 6S. But obviously smaller screen.

I'd rather have an SE than a 6 since it probably has a little more life than the 6 with it's bad battery life.

Yup. I personally went with the SE a while ago. More current specs, and since I don't watch a lot of video on my phone, I'm apparently one of the few people that actually prefers a smaller screen. And the price difference more than makes up for any perceived "shortcomings".

Best thing is to buy directly from straighttalk website and add any plan to use 20% off on total order by using code ST20OFF. SE plus 35$ plan comes to 132$ before tax using 20% off code

This phone is pointless if you aren't planning on using on StraightTalk or one of their associated companies. Can't be unlocked.

If you want to unlock, get the $149 AT&T prepaid 32Gb SE. That one can be unlocked. (Total cost including unlocking about $200).

I always see those RSim things on ebay that say that they can unlock iPhones for a few bucks. I wonder if the StraightTalk phones can be unlocked using these.

I'm currently using an SE and use it pretty darn close to what I use a bigger phone for. I watch videos on it still, but I tend to move to an iPad or laptop for extended viewing.

The phone is nice and small, a lot easier to carry.

It has smaller screen than $20 phone, not mention tiny battery ...

Battery life is actually a lot better than I thought it would be, surprisingly. I think iOS is fairly optimized compared to Android.

A $20 Android phone usually is garbage from my experience. I'd probably go to the Moto G5-level of phone for a better comparison of quality. I'm meh about iOS vs. Android fangeekery; I like both for various reasons.

I'm okay with the smaller screen myself, and I just came from a big-ass Nexus 6P. That phone had a shit battery life.

I kinda hate iOS but the SE is a screaming deal. It's buttery smooth compared to any Android phone near this price, the camera is very good, and the battery life is great. I just effin hate iOS.
