Dewalt Flexvolt 120v Battery Operated 12" Sliding Miter Saw - Home Depot $299

Just bought the 12" Dewalt flexvolt miter saw with (2) batteries and power cord adapter at Home Depot in Orlando FL area ringing $299 + they gave me 10% off since it was the last one open box so I got it for $288 OTD.

Sign near the miter saws also said free miter stand with purchase of this saw, but they did not honor that due to discounted price.

I saw this saw at another home depot marked down too, so it is getting moved out in my area.

Receipt attached

Item #1001850112

In Store - YMMV - Good luck!

I can't seem to find any of these deals. Seems regional.

Holy crap, I just paid $599 for this. I'm going to check my local stores tonight but it sounds like you got the deal of a lifetime. Do you have a picture of the box or tag? Is this really the DHS790AT2 kit with the two batteries, double charger, and 120v adapter??

My closest store said it was on clearance a few months ago but it never went below $689. Recently they went down to $550. They had 6 and they never showed up on hd.com or on brickseek but they were in the store. None of the other stores claim they are on clearance. I think it is just certain stores. I have this saw and it is awesome. Lucky you got it so cheap. Also, I wouldn't necessarily say it was open box as they all appeared to be repackaged.

That receipt states reduced tag, not clearance. 99% won't be able to replicate.

Can you explain how the different designations on the receipt work or what they mean to the stores? BTW my store associates read somewhere in the computer that they are on clearance.

This would be a Green tag markdown that is a hand written clearance tag a manager puts on the item because it was returned, damaged, missing parts, or they just really want them out of their store to make room for new product.

It is probably a clearance item , but at a higher price . Being clearance alone could allow you to get the free stand mentioned....But a manual reduced markdown...no.

$299 is an INSANE price for what is the best miter saw DeWalt makes. I bought this new condition second hand for $400 and I was thrilled.

It goes on sale new for about $500-600 every now and again (last week for $620 full set + stand), so I wouldn't pay more then $250 for a bare bones unit.
Figure about $150 for a set of baterias, $70 if you can find a dual charger or 2x$40 for singles, $40 for the ac adapter.
Of course, if you intend to run in plugged in only you can probably settle for a bit higher price and still come out with a great saw that one day might go cordless.
