Steam [steampowered.com] has Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Siege II, Dungeon Siege III and "Dungeon Siege III: Treasures of the Sun" for 80% off right now. All 4 titles for $3.99 with a Steam account. Expires October 1st

I played these games through the years, and enjoyed them very much. I haven't played part 3 yet, so I bought this to try it out. Playing this game over LAN with family or friends is VERY fun, and it's like Diablo but a more in-depth, light-hearted DnD style Action RPG. Peace
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Dungeon Siege 3 can and should be played with an Xbox controller. It should not have been named Dungeon Siege 3 to begin with though...

If you loves this game y'all should look into Divinity: Original Sin II. It's like XCOM meets dungeon siege. It got a 9.6 on IGN.

Loved the original back in the day. Diablo-like with a party instead of one character and a leveling system that was quite innovative for the time. Make sure one of your mages has the spell to transmute excess loot to gold!

The only downside was that some of the sections between villages felt padded and over-long.

The online community was my favorite part of Games 1 and 2. Do the directory servers still work and do people still play MP?

seems like a good deal, but i'd do some more reading. with some steam reviews are saying that the steam version doesn't include expansions or multiplayer for ds1 and ds 2.

Unfortunately no, Multiplayer is deactivated in the steam version of dungeon siege.

Its true; Also worth noting is that in the steam version, when you beat the game in DS1 it just cuts to the title screen abruptly with no end-game credits or completion video. Kind if disappointing.

Why not? I'll give Steam a few more bucks for some cool games that I will probably never end up playing (although I did play through the original when it came out).

Serious question -- can these be played with one hand, like Diablo? I don't have to use the mouse & keyboard at the same time? One of my hands doesn't work well enough.
