Having read the reviews and being on the fence...i'd love to get a projector and the reviews seem generally positive, but even at this price, for a little more you can get a higher resolution projector that has inferior sound and portability but probably better visuals...if portability is key to you, this could be a good one, especially if Anker updates the software on this device from KitKat so it can get key apps loaded properly. The reviews say it's very bright compared to some of the competition which is good...not so good is that as far as I can tell, it's not an LED projector so you might have to get a lamp replacement at some point.

As for right now, I do not trust any consumer LED projector. The picture quality on my Epson 2045 is ($550 conventional lamp) simply far superior than that of my Acer 212P ( $300 LED) LG PF1500 and PF1000U ($750-1000 LED). The LED projector right now just makes awful colors, and the problem relies exactly at its light source: the LED, which produce unbalanced RGB output. My Benq HT2150ST is on the way and I could not wait to try it out.

i believe this product is most likely crap....

Reasons that have nothing to do with technical specifications other than one part
1. Go to amazon link and look at the pictures... they are all photoshop jobs (and a very lazy whale one...)
2. Watch the video in the link... everything extremely washed out.. it doesn't look any better to me than the cheapo 80 dollar projectors I sold during black friday
3.

4k support just means you can input a 4k source and it will correctly down-convert
