I think the new age have shorter brackets to attach to the ceiling. Also, Costco will have 2 4x8 ceiling racks for $250 in October.

Thanks OP! Ordered two sets of the shelves to replace old kitchen cabinets the prior home owner put on the garage walls.

Woot currently has the MonsterRax one 4x8 for $115.99 (https://tools.woot.com/offers/mon...w_zlm_bs_3) which appears very similar to me.

Also don't forget that with Costco, their deal includes the additional hooks which is a pretty big ($100) additional value if you can use them. I ordered them last time and have yet to install mine, but given my past experience with other ceiling storage systems, I think that those hooks will definitely come in handy.

I also ordered/installed the wall shelves (ordered from Costco as well @ $60 after coupon) which $61 is a great price for them and I keep thinking of all sorts of different uses (places)for them like over top a chest freezer to be able to use the wall behind it, using it for server equipment in my basement (since they're naturally ventilated), etc. where I need to buy more. Wait, I just noticed that these are only three feet long whereas the Costco ones are four feet... That's a big deal to me, so while still a good price at HD, not as good as I originally thought. But, I also just found the four feet ones for even less... http://www.homedepot.com/SpecialB...NT&cj=true so I retract my confusing statements.

In for one. At first 45" seemed WAY too low, but after watching install video, that's easily adjustable. Strange the 4'x4'x33" high one costs more than then 45" high one when you can just adjust this one to match. If you just need one small rack, $69 seems like a great entry price. Thanks OP!!!

Where would one find the Costco coupon? Is that price available now?

It's an online [instant] coupon that's supposed to go active either tomorrow or the next day.

They have a 4'x4' for $60 [woot.com] as well and some other options [woot.com].

Like right now. [samsclub.com]

Having been in the market for these for a few weeks, this isn't a deal. Prices have been better recently. One thing to take note on is the minimum height. I was looking for above my garage door and I have 19" clearance, some of these have 24" minimum (which could probably be adjusted with a hacksaw, but that may depend on the build).

I own four of these and they are awesome. I replaced the the cheaper HyLoft racks I had put in and it was worth every penny.
