Rule against stealing a member's post

I had an issue in one of the Trading threads where a member clearly did a copy/paste of my post to create his/her own. The moderator that responded agreed that it was not cool to do but stated that there was no specific policy against it.
This isn't an issue about competition. There are several others trading the same exact thing I am, and I wasn't even the first. But up until a recent post, each member has taken the minute or two necessary to type up their own post. It is a matter of principal and respect for other members.
Thanks for taking this into consideration.

It looks like you have a nice succinct post for what I have to assume is a fairly common item(s) to trade away in that thread...which stemmed from another popular thread where the items were acquired, correct. So that other member likely had the same items to trade, and you were asking for a very generic - often asked for- return on the trade.
We often have members who use earlier posts and reapply them even for things like OP of a Hot Deal thread. It makes is easier on all involved and the members reading it as well if the original was so clear, to just reuse the same format.
I know some don't like to hear "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" but it is true.
We're all here to help each other and share deals.

Again, thanks for the response.
Again, thanks for the response.
Sorry but it happens, people even copy and paste deals from other sites on to our and fromours onto other sites..
It is a lazy way to post at times but also.. keeps it neater if the original was exactly what they needed to post...in regard to information.
Some are lazy...
