Processor is around 160-190 and the video card itself is 350-400.

Even just using the lower bound those two components themselves cost about 70% of the total cost of the build. Thumbs way up for this deal.

$420 for card, $190 for processor, that's already $610. Add Windows 10, and a case; you're getting the motherboard, ram, ssd, HDD, psu, and water cooler, plus the led lights, for free, as well as free installation.

I wouldn't use that specific motherboard if I were planning to upgrade
If I were to purchase a GTX 1070 card, I'd probably opt for a different model
I'd go with a 240/280 AIO water-cooler over that one.

I'd change a lot of things, but the value is undeniably there.

Great deal.

~Edit: also free mouse and keyboard, and Quake Champions...

Ok but for gaming is this comparable to the more recent deal we saw from Lenovo with the I7 and GTX 1080? I was super pissed I missed it and am looking for another great gaming set up but this doesn't seem to be equivalent to me. What do you guys think? How good is the AMD compared to the Intel set up. Thanks for any advice.

Damn that GTX 1080 TI deal is sweet. Wish I could have held out 6 months before dropping $1400 on a i7-7700k GTX 1080 deal. Unfortunately something better will always come along in a short space of time when it comes to gaming rigs.

You can definitely get the card and processor for cheaper than that, but your point still stands. This is a great deal. Wish I didn't already have a 1070 setup, otherwise I would get this in a heart beat.

Yeah I was just going by a quick google shopping search, not in-depth.

I went to get the setup for my son and it's now gone.

INSERT I CAN BUILD THIS FOR CHEAPER comment lul

Real talk tho do games even stress CPUs that much anymore? Seems like most of the work is GPU-based (logically), so if you get an i7 (or Ryzen I suppose) you can just ride with that much longer than the 1080 (unless you get the TI i guess?)
