i ahve been eyeing that GT 1080 for a while. has good reviews for gaming. but i think lacks some adjustment settings which can make it pain to mount/setup.

so i was trying to find out about hz and projectors. it seems like projectors dont work like tv's do in that sense?

are there any projectors that are 120hz native (not by doubling frames). for instance my older vizio p65 can accept 120hz from my PC at 1080p.

It may be the higher lumens (3200 vs 3000)?
I'm wondering about the GT1080 vs either of these. Even though it's lower lumens (2800), as it's shorter through, I wonder if it would then still meet better results in higher ambient light environments? Hmm...

I would like to know as well. My 2050 just got delivered today. Haven't set it up, and won't before the weekend, but I was concerned about the low lumens and the Epson appears to be brighter?

the epson 1771w is not 1080p and is more of a business class projector that fits in a laptop bag. The gt1080 is probably a little brighter with ONLY white light because its kind of cheating by having a crappier color wheel than the benq ht2050, so the benq is actually brighter.. benq still seems king in this case. Unless someone is looking at this thread with only $300 budget

There are no details on lamp life and warranty specifics. Am I missing anything?

Not sure about lamp life/warranty but there is a 1 year warranty included with every purchase per the page details.
