lite 120 version is only $39 without rebates. It does an excellent job in cooling my 4.2GHz 125W processor. Temps stay at 35 degrees and max out at 50 degrees under CPU-Z stress test.

not to TC, but just want to let people know that lite 120 could me more than sufficient for many.

I've always been paranoid about installing liquid coolers on my own... can anyone provide a link on how to do it safely? If so I'm buying this.

Liquid is hyped and will never reach same low temps as air cooler. Reliability wise pumps don't last long so warranty is important. used 4 liquid coolers over past 3 years. safe bet noctua is best. silent and sub 30 temps with 6 core i7.

I've never used it, but I think it does have some interesting uses if you wanted to do things like create a desk PC. The ability to cool a CPU without having a huge tower cooler is interesting. I know they have low profile CPU coolers, but there not nearly as effective and still have some height to them. Obviously in the above scenario, the GPU would need a PCI bridge (to give it a low profile too). That and some people just think it's cool to see liquid pumping through their side window. But, yeah, there really should be a reason for doing it, because they don't seem to be any better at actual cooling on a practical level.

I bought the 240 version (bigger radiator and two fans) for $65 from Newegg couple weeks ago. I think it might be still on sale for that price. Works very nicely and quiet. AIOs are nice especially for smaller cases or cases with little room inside. Those gigantic air coolers needs room and good airflow inside the case to work effectively.

Your better if getting the 240 for$65 or the 120 lite for 39. I have the 120 lite attached to my ryzen 5 1600x. It stays nice and cool when OC. Really quiet too

AIOs suck.. you can do just as well with air and not have to worry about the pump going. The only water that runs super cool is custom loop.

i think they upped the rebate to $15, so its $45 after rebate now. pretty good. i have the lite 120 (which only comes with 1 fan, i went and bought an extra fan to get that extra 100ghz, overclocking is addicting). i have a micro case, a 240 would be hard to fit.

15 MIR is only from purchases starting today. So if you purchased previously you have to use the old 10 MIR. Bummer, picked this up last week with the 10. Oh well, still a good deal and I generally try not to consider the AR price anyway just the initial purchase price.

Lets assume I do. I ran liquid for years bro. I also used the cooler master pro 240. and let say it not any better. if anything worst then corsair quality wise. do your research on how often pump fail. I use my pc on daily so like maybe if you run your pc like few times a week its fun but at end pumps will die sooner or later. Im running a nf 15s with sli 1080 and corsair dom reaching temps lower then any of my liquid coolers would never have. I can show u recipts for days also rma slips on top....good luck with ur liquid cooler c;
