I got a similar one from Ross for around $15. Using a ladder and cones makes for great boot camp style training anywhere.

These are great for agility training but they are also awesome to incorporate into general circuit based training. You can do quite a lot of upper and lower based agility work. Just check out vids on YouTube or Instagram for all the possiblities

The best thing about items like this is they are portable and easy to bring with you to the track/gym/park or wherever you plan on getting your workout in

I've used one that looks just like this in the past. It's good for getting your heart rate up if you do a proper workout routine with it. I paid more for the one I had. Good price on this one.

Chalk + pavement = same thing. This is just hopscotch.

Had the same exact thought. Glad I was not the only one.

That works too, although you can't/shouldn't use football, soccer or any other cleats on the sidewalk. Also I can't use chalk on my gym floor or our track. So this is a great option for that as well as using it on grass or turf when using cleats.

What's the point of this.... why not just draw a hopscotch on the ground with chalk and do the same thing

This is just snake oil for anyone who isn't a beginner in sports. If you're just starting out athletically, getting back into working out/sports after a long hiatus, or just want a new activity to try and burn calories ... Then this is fine.

This doesn't have the hooks that pin the ladder to the grass (assuming you're using it in a grass field). So the whole ladder easily gets accidentally kicked out of alignment as people are going through it. It is SUPER frustrating to stop the people to re-adjust the ladder every 5-10 seconds.

I recommend saving your money for a ladder that has the hooks that pin the ladder down.

It's most definitely not snake oil and it does have very sports specific applications as well as general fitness based ones. If you want to argue that there are better alternatives to this, than that is another conversation.

And for people commenting about using chalk instead, i use one of these at a sports facility with field turf and occasionally inside a gym so chalk is just not going to work in either case.
