The seller has a great history and labels all their phones well. For instance, they sell others that are used but in excellent condition and state that clearly. They also label others as open box. This is an item with no signs of use. I consider that better than a refurbished product. Plus, it has a 30 day warranty.

EXCELLENT items will show some minor paint and/or cosmetic imperfections. Some minor pocket wear to the screen may be visible. These items were used lightly.

GOOD items show moderate to considerable signs of use. There will be paint wear, including scuffs and scratches. Screens may have pocket wear and scratches from use.

WELL USED items will show general wear and signs of use throughout. There will be a considerable amount of wear including scuffs and scratches to the body and/or screen.

POOR items are in below average condition with a considerable amount of cosmetic imperfections. Please expect large amounts of pocket wear to the body and/or the screen of the item.

I will admit you can sometimes get even better deals with carrier specific phones, but I like the added bonus of being able to use it on any carrier.

And that 'seller'... is... or could perhaps... actually... be...

YOU. Just kidding dude.

We all know you're really just his brother-in-law that 'owes him a solid'. What what???

Seriously though, it all sounds fine and dandy BUT the big dealbreaker for me (and this is ESPECIALLY applicable to used/refurbed/open-box, non-new phones) is that crappy/nearly impossible to remove battery that was 'featured' on these Galaxys beginning with the S6.

And I certainly don't envy (but know that I don't pity) those folks that own the S6 & forward who are destined to pay Samsung (or perhaps a local phone tech guy) nearly $100 to replace said battery.

AND... on top of that (if they choose to ship it off to Samsung), many folks will be forced into buying or perhaps borrow someone elses phone while theirs is gone for 2-3 weeks for a STUPID REPLACEMENT BATTERY. Frown

Congratulations Samsung... your (non-removable battery) 'chickens' are slowly starting to come home to roost. Idiots. Please stop emulating the scumbags at Apple.

I definitely do not know the seller. I just couldn't find a better deal on an s7. If I'm not mistaken, don't all the flagship phones have non-removable batteries now except some LG?

Sadly, you are not mistaken. And... AFAIC, they all can go pound sand.

Just the other day I bought a (NEW, in sealed factory package) Galaxy S5... the last Samsung phone I'll likely own (unless they get wise and sort of start over by re-designing phones again that have 'easily user-replaceable" batteries).

That S5 can still go up against many of today's $500+ flagship phones and meet or beat their overall feature set, etc. Of course, they are all likely to be a little bit faster... but not by much.

I'm actually thinking about buying another for the possibility of when this one gets perhaps lost/stolen. Of course, I bought 2 OEM Samsung batteries to swap in/out when it's running low or I'm on a long business trip, or on a near-primitive camping outing w/my kids.

No offense, but you guys can keep those oversized, overpriced, somewhat 'under-featured' flagship phones for yourselves.

Believe me I'm fine with the Moto G4 Play I've been using, but I needed something that could take much better video, and the Samsung's are good for that. The LG V20 was another option, and it has a removable battery, but I felt that the S7 was going to be better for video.
