I bought this once, it was hard as a rock. Didn't feel at all like memory foam. Returned it real quick.

How is this one when compared with the one available in Ikea for $10.

Tell me if you find an all around comfortable memory foam pillow not just for side or back alone.

I bought two of these last year around the holiday when they had them on sale $10 and I would agree they are quite stiff but not hard. It's weird at first when you are used to standard pillows but once I got used to it my neck has never felt better.

Switching the two back and forth to allow them to become firm again after softening too much and not offer as much support, they are both getting worn out after a year. You have to rotate them more and switch them more often. Still mostly comfortable but not staying as tall as they started which was just about right for me.

I will probably grab two more from this sale.

Is this thicker at the edge vs. in the center? It's hard to tell from the photo. I need crazy neck support & I'm a side sleeper. Right now I'm using a neck bone pillow *on* *top* of a memory foam pillow with a thicker edge to get proper neck support, but I'm constantly looking for better solutions.

I actually tried the big one countoured pillow and liked it, aside from it losing its neck support after less than a year. Then I got a sensorgel pillow from macys. It's kept it's shape for almost a year but idk how much longer. I think I'm headed in the right direction for my perfect pillow though. Gel and mem foam possibly contoured. Or in the shape of OPs pillow which was the main reason I tried this out. but that's just me.

memory foam pillows feel nice and firm at first but over time lose firmness and become soft. i like firm. bought polyurethane foam pillow at ikea many years ago. still firm. now looking for something firmer but not memory foam.

I used to sleep with a contoured pillow made of the polyurethane foam. I had a couple of older, thin traditional pillows I'd put underneath it to get the right height. I really liked it, although when I changed mattresses it stopped being quite as comfy. Just couldn't get the height right for how far I sunk into the new mattress vs my old one.

Love these pillows. I have three different types of pillows on my bed and switch up periodically throughout the night. These are very firm and recommended for side sleepers. At this price you can try it and if you don't like it I'm sure you can re-purpose it somewhere.

Bought one a few months ago and loved it. Much better than your regular pillows after getting used to them. I was so impressed and bought 4 more for relatives. They love them too. I hope they don't loose their firmness too soon!

$9 shipping (on top of tax) slits this deal's throat in the cool, dark night
