run crystaldiskinfo to check the S.M.A.R.T. right after you set them up.

she said this will be on the fp soon

so the 2pk add says you are saving $40, but then you click on the single drive it is $200 and says you save $100.

Best Buy has 8tb easystore for 179 - contains a red drive. Negligible more for extra 2tb per drive.

Make sure UPC states from Taiwan (256mb cache vs China 1/2 that)

7200 RPM, warranty, different brand.. just cause it's colored red doesn't mean it's same quality as retail drive.

Maybe 8TB 2-packs for this price on BF? I'm at 80% utilization on my 5TB and want to make a lasting upgrade

Rather get 5400 or 5900rpm to run cooler and last longer

If I want to attach these hard drives to my home router and have the ability to access streaming content from any device, what type of enclosure would I get?

Something like this would house the two and provide a good NAS: https://m.newegg.com/products/N82...DQQAvD_BwE
