I want this, but can't justify paying that much for a drive even at this great of a deal.

correct, but thanks to idiot manufacturers like Lenovo with their damn whitelists in the BIOS, it requires not only NVMe but specific branded NVMe drives. screw companies like Lenovo that do this. screw them in the @*&$^*(#*$(@

This is a deal. I can in no way justify it though.

failed at checkout

2nd attempt succeeded

Really wanted to get just 500GB or a SATA 1tb because this costs so much but this price will make me kick myself if I miss it.

I feel you, except I just bought it. I hate messing with my OS drive and I wanted to get one that could last 5-7 years without me worrying about space, speed, etc.

This deal makes me wish I had a use case in which in would see a noticeable improvement in speeds.

But I don't.

I just won't notice the difference from my current, significantly cheaper SSDs.

I reserved the last one in my local store and plan to pick up for 2 reasons.
1. $339 is much lower than Unidays student discount price ($382.49).
2. Last time I bought an on sale open box GTX 980ti from mc for $375+tax, it has been the historic low price forever. When MC has some deals, they are the real deals and better than the coming black friday ones.
