Absolutely a good deal, love Disney cruises. Now this is for the Magic one of the smaller boats so character time is MUCH better than the larger boats.

disney's the only cruise line that is best booking 2 years in advance because price increases over time. special offers like these are rare and last year at this time, the special 'last minute' offers were out of galveston, texas. to answer your question, this 20% could possibly be comparable to booking waaayyy in advance and that's only if you did the onboard credit.

onboard credit is where you book your next cruise while still onboard to get 10% off and $250 stateroom credit.

<3 my disney cruises and once you cruise with disney, you can never go back to others.

Serra, what are your thoughts on Disney cruisies for two adults? I love kids, but this would be a trip just be for me and hubby. Will we be out of place on a Halloween or Christmas themed cruise?

We haven't done our Disney cruise yet, so I cannot answer that specific question. However, even with the discount, we spent almost 5k for a family of 4 on our 7 day Disney magic cruise.

Earlier this year, the 4 of us went on the MSC Divina ship in an area called the yacht club. It featured unlimited drinks, a private lounge, private butler, private pool and deck, private restaurant with better food and freshly made pasta dishes, very nice suite with unlimited room service in a private (quiet) part of the ship, and a bunch of other amenities. It was a bit over 4K for our family of 4.

If you aren't a Disney fanatic, this might be a better option for 2 adults; the Disney cruise is definitely expensive- and while we haven't don't ours yet, I'm pretty sure we won't get unlimited free drinks or our own butler- however, our kids love Disney, and my 6 year old wants to meet Groot, so I don't really care.

Deal looks great, but also be sure to check cash back sites, specific credit card offers, etc and try to stack. We went on a Disney cruise over the summer and got a significant cash back from a e bate site for booking a cruise through a travel site, and that site was offering significant on-board credit for booking cruises.

This isn't specific to themed cruises, but there are some nice adult only areas on the Magic. I was shocked how empty those areas were during a summer cruise. Given the kids clubs that everyone raves about, I was assuming a lot of adult time with those areas packed, but that wasn't the case. Night life was non existent though.. the nightlife "district" started closing down spots around 11. We walked the cruise deck for an upper level bar around 11:30pm and saw nobody. On that point, it makes for some incredible quiet private time to hang outside.

I'd say if you are adults that enjoy Disney at all, you'll love it. I add that caveat because there are going to be tons of kids at the broadway style shows, and running around in general. You can easily escape that hustle, but if you also enjoy that Disney feel, it's great. Attention to detail is amazing.
