The couple code only works for if you buy one. The second one is still full price at 179.99. So one at 180$ tax included. Second one will be 200$ tax included. Also does not work with Ebay Bucks. Basically only 15$ cheaper than the Best Buy deal. I'd wait a few more days for them to drop to 160$

Reds?
All the easystore 8TB are red. Question is China or Thailand. That will tell you if it is 128 or 256MB cache.

I think they are Blue Drives now, I too had hoped they kept putting Reds in.

Can you return directly to BestBuy or do you have to return through eBay should you need to exchange it for the 256MB cache?

The 8TBs should be reds, but they can be the newer white labels that don't have red branding (WD80EMAZ) -- if you're OCD about that sort of thing.

Best get these before they go out of stock forever, any price is good. The new model (rectangular case) has a really bad drive that clicks, basically a bad batch of HGST. WD80EZZX and with no good options from Seagate it'll be back to buying 3.5" Reds directly.

One person says something one time on the internet and EVERYBODY BELIEVES IT and it LIVES FOREVER.

THERE ARE NO 8TB BLUE DRIVES SO IT CANNOT BE A BLUE

Can be either. Can only tell by checking the box. I'd recommend buying in store if it matters.

Could you please clarify what you mean by the "rectangular case" with the clicks/ being bad. Picked up 3 of these in the past that were 256mb but have been waiting to purchase the fourth before the build.
