Has anyone had experience with window cleaning/tools? I have a two story with double hung vinyl windows and I'm trying to decide if this would be easier than using the craptastic tilt in feature of my windows.

Its worth it to grab the Ettore 86000 bucket as well if your buying the window cleaning kit...20% applies to it too.

The extension pole looks similar to the Blue Hawk brand sold at lowes for 14.99. I bought the lowes version a few months ago along with the cobweb brush and it works great.

I own a window cleaning business. http://glass-geeks.com How can I help you? How dirty are your windows? Does the upper pane tilt in or will you have to reach outside and up? To clean a 2nd story window with a pole properly takes a lot of practice. A lot. And it is only for maintenance. If they're fairly dirty with baked on dirt, they'll need some nose to glass treatment. Ladder and elbow grease. And we use abrasive tools to scrape hard layers of nasty off the glass before we ever use the squeegee.

My wife just returned the cobweb thing with extension pole. She said it just smeared the cobwebs around. Looking for something better now

Did you use the Ettore 48221 cobweb brush in this post? I bought the Blue Hawk extension pole from Lowes specifically to use with a cobweb brush, but it looks like this brush has a click-in attachment. In reviews, a lot of people mentioned that it doesn't have threads to hook up to threaded extension poles.

I bought this one https://www.lowes.com/pd/Ettore-P...nd/3592118 which is the same one listed on here. I just went to the garage to look at it, It does have the holes to use the click lock feature but also has threads inside the handle. It works great with the blue hawk extension pole.
